AFC Constitution - 13th June 2007 - Following consultation with clubs, the Constitution Committee have now finalised the League Constitution to be proposed at the Annual General Meeting on 29th June 2007. Click here for the proposed Constitution and Structure. AFC Constitution - 23rd May 2007 - Following a meeting of the AFC Constitution Committee, on 14th May 2007, we have agreed a draft constitution to propose to clubs, for approval at this year’s AGM. Next
season will continue with the present structure of 5 senior divisions and 3
regions. However, the South has been split in 2 sub regions below 4 South, to
meet the concerns over travelling between SE London and SW London. Teams outside
SE and SW London could find themselves in either. There
are two new clubs next season, St Albans Rangers and Teddington. London Airways
and Valley Park Rangers have resigned. The Constitution will consist of 101clubs
and 345 teams. During
our deliberations it was noted that several Clubs are running closed squad
systems which is adversely effecting promotion and relegation. We have tried to
avoid rewarding the more blatant examples. We
do remind all clubs that the League tends to lose teams during the close season
so the Constitution is subject to adjustment. As
is our customary practice we welcome your comments. Should you wish to comment
on the proposal please contact Bob Coates by June 5th. We can then take your
views into consideration in time to make recommendations to the AGM on June
29th. According to league rules clubs require 14 days notice of any proposed
changes. Therefore we will not accept any proposals to change the Constitution
at the AGM.
AFC Constitution Survey - 21st December 2006 - The Constitution Committee have published the details of the autumn survey of clubs on the future of the league Constitution. Click here for the Summary Letter and for the Full Constitution Survey.
